He’s enthusiastic, a listener, a worker. He tries to negotiate with people.
Through years of observation, his sense of community and geniality in the community is genuine.

Mehmed Ali is a concerned and responsible Lowell citizen. He knows his community and is liked by many people in this city. With his sense of civic pride and his knowledge of history, Mehmed will be an invaluable asset to the City Council.

I have known Ali for over a decade and I can’t think of another person who has Lowell always foremost on his mind. He will definitely be an advocate for the taxpayer!

Ali has been directly involved in so many projects that stimulate community cultural interaction. Affecting positive change and growth in the city is what he does best. He is a thouroughly prepared and ideal candidate for city council.

Ali is rooted in this place–went away for six years, came back, and knew what he was missing. He loves the Merrimack Valley, he’s a Lowell Patriot. He’s active, a great people person. He tries to help–seems to have no greater pleasure than that. He understands the history of the city–has written the one of the definitive books about it. Smart, big-hearted, warm, likes people, hard-working. I’m voting for him.

Mark Twain said “Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people do that, the really great ones make you feel that you, too, can become great.” Ali is of the latter category. The best leaders usually are.

No one knows the City of Lowell and its concerns better than Ali. He understands its past and is committed to its future. I wholeheartedly and proudly endorse his candidacy for Lowell City Council.

I haven’t met anyone who exceeds Mehmed Ali’s passion for his community. His knowledge of history and culture will be priceless for helping to guide Lowell through its future.

As a life-long resident of the Acre section of Lowell, I would like to offer my strongest endorsement for Mehmed Ali in his bid for a Lowell city council seat. Mehmed Ali has everything the people of Lowell need in a city councilman, Lowell pride and intelligence. He knows the needs of the city and he will work for all the people of Lowell.

Ali is skilled, talented and professional. He is an absolute asset to our community and his capacity for helping and accomidating people is a must for city councilors.

Ali is smart and he gets things done.
He gets things done, partly because he can work with people with differing viewpoints. Ali can work with everyone on the council now and can with every faction in the city.
I’m endorsing Ali, donating to his campaign and helping on his website because he will move things forward without leaving anyone behind.

I support Mehmed Ali because I beleive he is a real honest person. He is looking just to serve people in Lowell. He has a great background. I hope he will elect and serve the Lowell community.
